If you’ve traveled across the US, you know there are tons of neat and historical sites and stops along the way. Points of Interests, Historical sites, and scenic vistas abound. And, surprisingly, sometimes you can find some interesting historical items in truck stops. Transporting cars can take you off the major highways and onto the smaller highways and byways of the US. These roads can present their own challenges to our auto transport drivers, especially in winter. For example, this picture sent in by one of our drivers of US Route 12. Photo by Danny Lindstrom.
Life on the road for J&S Transportation’s drivers isn’t all auctions, dealership, and deliveries. Sometimes it’s a nice break from the auto transport biz, and winter, all at the same time. While the rest of us were suffering through yet another deep freeze in the middle of winter, one of our drivers sent us this picture of his view lounging on a beach in Florida! Photo by David Maxwell
You never know what you’ll run across as you travel the roads and highways of the US transporting cars for J&S! If you’re traveling along I-15 you’ll come across this sight. No, despite outward appearances, it is not the Eye of Sauron: It actually the Ivanpah solar farm! Photo by Kevin Davis.
Winter snow is beautiful, but it can make life difficult for people, animals, and even trees. For example, these trees are struggling under the weight of a snowstorm, which threatens to break their branches or topple the trees themselves! Photo by Sam Nixon.
Some people really like to go all out for their holiday light show and decorations. This display was spotted by one of our drivers as they transported cars along US Route 201 in Ontario, OR.
This guy is really in the Christmas spirit! While transporting cars to Las Vegas, one of our auto transport drivers spotted this festive rider who made his motorcycle a mobile holiday display! At press time, sources could not confirm whether this was Kris Kringle or not, but we have our suspicions! Photo by Kurt Graveley.
Along with our friends at Graveyard Carz, we hosted a contest to give away a GoPro5 Hero. Gary Nageldinger won GoPro and sent us this note and picture: “I received the GoPro and had a chance to play around with it a bit. I was hoping to get it on the Camaro and take it for a ride but it keeps snowing on and off here on NY. Thanks!” Gary Nageldinger Sign Up For Newsletter
