Alaska Car Shipping

We ship cars between Alaska and the lower 48 states all year round. Our Alaska auto transports are done by ship for the safest and quickest transport. The shipping ports we use when shipping cars between Alaska and the lower 48 states are the Port of Alaska in Anchorage, AK and the Port of Tacoma in Tacoma, WA.

Most of our Alaska transports are shipped on an open deck because that is the cheapest Alaska shipping option, but if you need your vehicle fully protected in a climate-controlled area, we offer closed deck options as well.

We make the process of shipping a car to or from Alaska very easy and stress-free. We handle all the details and paperwork for you. All you have to do is drop your vehicle off or pick your vehicle up at either of the two ports. If that isn't possible, we will truck your vehicle to or from either of the ports. While we offer trucking throughout the lower 48 states, we only offer trucking options in Alaska between Fairbanks and Anchorage.

The ships leave the ports twice a week so when your vehicle is dropped off at the ports by you or by our trucks, it is safely loaded onto one of the ships setting sail that week. As soon as the ship leaves the port, your vehicle will be delivered to the other port within a week!

J&S transportation shipped my 64 Ranchero. The process didn\'t go as I planned, which was due numerous times by problems with my vehicle. My bad! But, I dealt with a great employee with your company who worked diligently with me over a period of weeks to get the vehicle transported, efficiently and timely. I will highly recommend your company!
