Your vehicle is protected by the carrier’s cargo insurance, and we verify that coverage before assigning the shipment.
The pickup and delivery inspections are also important. Before loading, the driver documents the vehicle’s existing condition on the Bill of Lading and takes several photos. You or the person releasing the vehicle will review and sign the report.
At delivery, inspect the vehicle again before signing the final paperwork. The pickup and delivery condition reports provide documentation if damage occurs during transport.

When is an enclosed trailer preferable to an open multi-vehicle carrier?
Enclosed transport is usually preferable for classic, collectible, luxury, or high-value vehicles that need additional protection from weather and road debris.
For most everyday cars, pickups, SUVs, crossovers, and minivans, open transport is the most common option. It’s widely available and considerably less expensive.

Can you ship a personal vehicle containing personal belongings?
Yes. We allow one suitcase, duffel bag, tote, or box weighing up to 100 pounds inside the vehicle.
The belongings must be securely stored below the window line or in the trunk.
Personal belongings are not covered by the carrier’s cargo insurance, so we recommend keeping valuables, medications, important documents, expensive electronics, cash, jewelry, and anything irreplaceable with you.

Most carriers schedule their loads relatively close to the transport date, so booking months in advance isn’t necessary.

Large auto transport trucks can’t always access residential streets because of narrow roads, low-hanging trees, tight turns, traffic restrictions, or local regulations.
