10. The quote and order process works like this:
- The customer generates a guaranteed quote, and if the customers like it, they enter their credit card details. We authorize the customer’s card but do not charge it.
- We will then call the customer either the same day or the next business day with a personalized pick up forecast.
- The customer decides whether to accept the quote and pick up forecast. If yes, then J&S charges the card the 10% deposit
- The 10% is non-refundable from the point we charge it, as the customer has agreed to a personalized forecast.
- The remaining balance is charged upon pick up of the vehicle.
11. All transportation fees must be U.S currency and be paid in full at time of pickup and will be charged immediately to credit card on file. If the card is declined at this point a reprocessing fee of $20 will be charged. The customer will be contacted and informed of the additional fee. Card on file is the credit card given to process the initial down payment of transport. J&S accepts all major credit cards.
12. By entering the credit card online or giving over the telephone to an agent of J&S, it is deemed that you are the legal card holder, or have permission of card holder, and authorize both the deposit and remaining balance to be charged to the card on file.
13. If cancellation occurs after J&S advises planned pickup and delivery dates, there will be no refund of the original down payment.
14. J&S Transportation requires that we are the only transport company hired. If at any time it is found that another transport company (carrier or broker) is working on the same move, J&S will cease efforts to ship your vehicle and no refund will be given to the customer. Having multiple transport companies assist with the same move is a huge problem and only hinders the process. J&S refuses to participate when other transport companies are involved.
