Hans Volwerk needed to ship his mother-in-law’s 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid from Deerfield Beach, FL, to Eugene, OR. Not having any car shipping experience, a recommendation from one of the dealerships we work with led him to J&S.
“We needed to ship the car because my mother-in-law moved from Florida to Eugene, Oregon, two years ago and her 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid had been sitting in Deerfield Beach. We weren’t sure exactly what was going to happen,” says Hans. “We didn’t know if we were ever going back there and it turns out that that was the case. We decided to sell her property there, and the vehicle had to be either sold there or moved here.”
“Well, it turns out that it was better to get the vehicle shipped here so that we had some options, including perhaps selling it. When I investigated what we could have sold the car for in Florida, it was really so low that I thought I would probably come out ahead having it transported and selling it here on the West Coast. Moving it was a better option than selling it in Florida.”
“I went to a local dealership here, Lithia Toyota of Springfield, who had put an ad out that said they were interested in certain types of cars, including the Camry Hybrid. I went over there with my wife, and we talked to one of the sales persons. I told them we had this car sitting in Florida that they wanted and asked what can we do about it?”
“He said, ‘Well, I can’t really do anything until the car is here.’ I said, ‘What would it cost me?’ and he said, it wouldn’t be much, and If I wanted it done professionally, go with J&S. So, that’s what I did. I went online and booked the whole thing on your website online based on their recommendation.”
“Well, it was a good experience. Everything went very smoothly. The driver was very professional and on top of things. The delivery was actually quite a bit sooner than everybody expected so that was a good thing, and the vehicle is in good order. Overall, I would say it was a very good experience.”
“All the J&S people I spoke with were very professional and cordial. They called me right back as soon as I had placed the order online. I got a phone call right within the hour to clear up some details and verify the order. I didn’t have to sweat a lot to get this accomplished. So that’s good.”
I would recommend J&S to anyone because I had a good experience. I don’t think I was lucky. I think other people would have a good experience, too.
You’re correct Hans. You weren’t lucky. We’re just good at auto transport.
