I chose to go with J&S because they were a transport company; they weren’t a third party broker. I’ve not shipped a car before, and J&S just seemed to know what they were doing. There was a cheaper quote I had, but I was a little bit uneasy going with some of these other companies, so I went with J&S. They have good references on their site. Plus I just had a gut feeling that they were the right company.
I guess what I was most impressed with was the speed in which they got the car here, really. They gave me an estimated delivery of about two weeks, but once they picked up the car, it only took two days for them to deliver it. Apparently they left Dickinson, ND, on a Friday evening and got here to Boise, ID, by Sunday morning. That’s about 950 miles.
I don’t know if I’ll be in a position to ship a car again, but if I am, I’ll use J&S.
